Overview

Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum

Historical and marine artifacts from Port Colborne's past are on display at this community museum. The collection includes a wheelhouse from the Yvon Dupre, a lifeboat from the Hochelaga, a heritage village of log houses circa 1850, a blacksmith shop from 1870, a carriage house and home built in 1869 and a 1915 tea room. Guided and self-guided tours are available. Events at the museum include Arabella's Pie Social and History Fair, Canal Days and the Grand Old Christmas Festival. School and bus tours of the museum are offered.

Arabella's Tea Room offers tea, homemade biscuits and jam every afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m., June - September.

The L.R. Wilson Heritage Research Archives is open to visitors and researchers interested in local history and genealogy.
