Overview

A National Historic Site recognized as Canada's oldest remaining House of Industry. Twelve galleries featuring social, agricultural, native and settlement history of Wellington County. Exhibits include Ontario Museum Association Award of Merit exhibit on World War 1 "Far From Home: A Soldier's Life at the Front" and "First Story: The Neutrals in Wellington County". Archives holds geneaological and local history materials. Heritage gardens and barn, trails, picnic tables, festival days, art shows, summer art workshops and cemetery interpretive site.
