Overview

The Oil Museum of Canada is one of Ontario oldest National Historic Sites, and is home to North America's the first commerical oil well. It tells the story of Canada's important contributions to the development of the world's oil industry with over a dozen indoor and outdoor exhibits. There are exhibits and activities that make the museum a fun and interactive place for the whole family. It is also a living heritage site, where 19th century technology is still being used to pump oil wells on a daily basis.
